The INED 2027 curriculum is designed around the POD Network’s Educational Developer Competency Toolkit. Across all sessions, participants will explore core skills in learning and pedagogy, facilitation, consultation, program design, assessment, leadership and equity-minded practice to create personalized professional learning goals.
Community Values
Adapted from the Minnesota State Network for Educational Development (NED), our community values guide how we interact and learn together: Community, Equity and Inclusion, Shared Learning, Curiosity and Growth, Grace and Compassion and Reflection.
Community
We build trust through careful listening, respectful disagreement, risk-taking and meaningful connection. We believe learning happens best when people feel welcomed, supported and part of a community.
Shared Learning
No one knows everything; together we know a lot. We value the knowledge, experiences and perspectives each participant brings and believe we all have something to teach and something to learn.
Grace and Compassion
We recognize that learning is an ongoing process and that individuals and organizations grow over time. We extend grace to ourselves and others as we engage in meaningful work together.
Equity and Inclusion
We strive to make equity a core value in our work and recognize that creating inclusive learning environments requires ongoing reflection, learning and action. We are committed to reducing barriers and creating opportunities for belonging.
Curiosity and Growth
We approach challenges with curiosity, openness and a willingness to explore new ideas. Growth often involves discomfort, and we view mistakes as opportunities for learning and development.
Participation and Reflection
We encourage balanced participation by creating space for both speaking and listening. We value thoughtful reflection, active engagement and respect for the time and contributions of others.
